4:48 am	Janet Devlin aboutthe competition Janet comes from Northern Ireland from a village of Gortin and is actually 16 yrs old. As she puts it her house is in the midst of nowhere and it is rather major. Due to the fact her home town is a relatively uninteresting area where nothing really takes place, she was in fact immediately recognized as soon as she got back home from her very first try out. She usually spends lots of time alone in her own bed room studying writing and performing. J. Devlin is reasonably shy by nature and says she is short of self-confidence what makes this difficult for her to get out ahead of a crowd. In class she wasn't one of several popular children. She dressed in dark and infrequently did not speak anything to any one even for several days. She's actually been into music since she was 7 and X Factor became a substantial contrast to almost everything she's ever worked on before in her life. The simple fact she was able to fly to the capital to take part in auditions was basically massive by itself not mentioning moving forward towards the life tv shows. As she put it hadn’t been very easy for her to develop the self esteem that might let her to live up to other people’s expectations. Global recognition just isn't something that she signed up for and is also a bit overwhelming just like fan mail she receives. It is obvious to Janet that the contest could be life-changing for her and she sort of would like it to be. It is the peak of all things she's ever completed not just singing wise but generally. Her most important wish is to develop as a individual and she can't do that in the place where she lives. Each step rivalry is really huge for her as she's not too self confident as the remaining competitors. JD said that right after she progresses to the life shows, practically nothing will be typical anymore - it means the entire world to me.Music is most important to her. She would like to be true to herself, which means she wouldn't act be someone she isn't even if it resulted in giving up the battle. As she shared with the journalists, she'd rather not win than compromise her ethics. Having value and staying real to herself seems to be truly important.
